I stop for while

Its like a drug
I fall into the abyss
The time ticks on slowly
I fear to be hit by the bottom

Fear grows in me deep
To be hurt at any moment
Dark fathom awaits me
I want to stop for while

A will to survive inside heart
Logic prevails for the death
The beauty has long gone now
Alone awaits ego in the journey

No reason to live now
And I fall into the abyss.

  6. the poem resembles the situations we mostly encounter in life and i guess with the right people to help us , we do come out of the situations but sometimes the journey backwards is all lonesome but covering the distance adds a new dimension to our lost sense of perspective and then dawns something called self realisation :)
    nice poem bhaiya :)

  7. deboshree, you are so miser and beautiful in the prose that you can do wonders in the poetry. The lines you have written here so true and not haunting in nature also. I wrote this poem under little depression and has quite passed that phase with the help of wonderful friends. Kafka once said that : "A first sign of the beginning of understanding is the wish to die. "

I am understanding life little by little... that is the sign of the fall and hidden fear of abyss.

Leave this bull dung and enjoy life without mind. I have to pinch myself with that. Thanks for coming here and putting a elegant opinion.
